I formalized a life long love of food, restaurants and the congeniality of cuisine by getting a culinary degree as a mid-life crisis...er, uh...I mean career change. Before that I spent most of my life working as a writer, and television personality, in the alternative media. The technology of the interwebs finally provided me with an irresistable opportunity to combine my passions. I now have my own food blog at www.culinarycommandos.com and you can also find me on YouTube with a channel by the same name. The goal is to combine edgy entertainment with real food knowledge, and maybe even make a buck or two. I'm also working on a book, a food memoir, which I hope to complete by mid 2010.
